Enter our photography competition
The Landguard Peninsula is a great untapped resource for photographic opportunities - huge container ships, wonderful wildlife, unique objects at the Felixstowe Museum and the historic Landguard Fort.
Enter our photography competition - and WIN one of 12 places in the Discover Landguard Calendar 2013, plus the overall "Judges Choice" winner will enjoy a full day one-to-one photography workshop (including lunch) with the award-winning professional photographer James Fletcher.
"Going out with James opened my eyes to a different way of approaching photography; starting with an overview of the scene or subject, then moving into the smaller details. This allowed me to start telling a story with my pictures which was something I really enjoyed. Along with making sure each part of my compositions included interesting elements and not distractions, I came away from my day with James feeling much more confident that whatever my subject I can come away with some good images. Overall it really opened my eyes to the world of photography, both as a hobby and a possible career choice".
Matthew Chaplin - "Judges Choice" winner, Landguard Photography Competition 2011
